Vajra Mudra

vajra mudra

Vajra Mudra (The Gesture of the Thunderbolt / Circulation Stimulator)
Description and Technique:
This mudra should be performed with both hands simultaneously. First, press the tip of your thumb against the side of your middle finger’s nail. Next, press the ring finger against the opposite side of the middle finger’s nail, and place the pinky finger against the side of the ring finger’s nail. Meanwhile, leave your index finger completely free, extended, and relaxed. Based on your physical health needs, practice this mudra regularly three times a day for 5 minutes per session.

Underlying Science and Physical Symptoms:
·According to holistic health principles, a drop in blood pressure (Low BP) typically occurs when the ‘Earth element’ (Bhoo Tattva) within the body becomes weakened or deficient.
·This Earth element is closely linked to the health and vitality of the stomach, spleen, pancreas, or a weakened cardiac system.
·When any defects or imbalances arise in these internal organs, the smooth circulation of blood throughout the body gets compromised. As a direct result, symptoms such as lethargy, a complete lack of enthusiasm or interest, and dizziness (vertigo) begin to manifest.

Benefits:
·Regular practice of Vajra Mudra highly stimulates and normalizes blood circulation across the body.
·Additionally, gently massaging the root of the nose, the center of the forehead, the back of the head, and the back of the neck using the middle finger effectively mitigates and cures all complications arising from low blood pressure.
