Surabhi Mudra or Go Mudra (The Cow Gesture)
Description: To perform this mudra, the fingers of both hands must be combined as follows: Let the left pinky finger touch the right ring finger, and the right pinky finger touch the left ring finger. Similarly, the middle fingers of both hands should touch the index fingers of the opposite hand. Only the thumbs should remain extended straight. Visually, this posture resembles the shape of the four udders of a cow.

Practice and Benefits:
·It is best to practice this mudra for at least 15 minutes every day. It acts like a “panacea” (universal remedy) specifically for those suffering from joint pain and arthritis. Those with chronic issues should practice it for a longer duration.
·Through systematic practice, one can achieve a high level of spiritual experience during meditation.
·It is helpful in maintaining the balance of the three ‘Doshas’ in the body: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
·In religious rituals, especially while chanting the Gayatri Mantra, displaying this mudra increases the influence of the mantra tenfold.
·Besides providing peace of mind, it enhances the creative power within a person.
