Description: Join the tips of your thumb, index finger, and middle finger together. Fold your ring finger and place it down at the base (crease) of the thumb. Finally, keep your pinky finger extended straight without any tension. Practice this hand posture with both hands simultaneously. Depending on your requirement, it is ideal to perform this mudra five times a day, for about 5 minutes each session.

Background and Causes of Headaches: There are countless diverse reasons behind the onset of a headache. It is impossible to completely cure it just by popping a single pill. Headaches can often trigger due to frequent weather fluctuations, eye strain, neck stiffness, sinus issues, gastric or stomach troubles, and disorders in the bladder. Due to these ailments, excessive energy gets trapped and concentrated in the head area, tightening up and resulting in severe pain.

Benefits:
·This mudra helps relax the excessive tightness or built-up pressure inside the head. By redirecting our consciousness and attention away from the head toward other parts of the body like the stomach, hands, and feet, it efficiently balances the energy flow.
·It alleviates mental stress and completely relieves the problem of nasal congestion (blocked nose) caused by colds.
