Sandhi Mudra (The Joint-Balancing Gesture)

Description and Technique

Right Hand Posture

Bring the tips of your right thumb and ring finger together, touching them gently. Keep the other fingers extended.

Left Hand Posture

Simultaneously, join the tips of your left thumb and middle finger together. Keep the remaining fingers relaxed and straight.

It is recommended to practice this asymmetric hand gesture four times a day, holding it for 15 minutes per session. If the joint pain is severe or acute, this therapeutic posture can be repeated up to six times a day. Combining this mudra practice with mild yoga poses yields even more effective results for the body.
