Tse Mudra

tse mudra

Description: First, place both your palms on your thighs. Next, touch the tip of your thumb to the base (lower root edge) of your pinky finger. Now, while breathing in slowly (Inhalation/Puraka), tightly close the bent thumb with the remaining four fingers to form a fist. Hold your breath inside for a short period of time (Retention/Kumbhaka).
While holding this posture, visualize chanting the sacred sound of ‘Omkar’ seven times within the depths of your mind. Let the vibrations of this primal mantra resonate in your right ear. Afterward, breathe out very slowly from the lower abdomen (Exhalation/Rechaka), release your fingers, and open your palms. At this very moment, visualize that all the anxiety, fear, worry, and sadness within you are leaving your body completely.

Practice Method and Benefits:
·This mudra process can be practiced consecutively seven times in a single session. It is ideal to practice it like this a total of seven times throughout the day.
·When the mind is distressed, when one is gripped by excessive fear, or to overcome mental despair, this mudra serves as an excellent remedy.
·It awakens a person’s inner vision (Intuition) and guides them toward meaningful self-reflection.

Special Note: According to Yogic science, a person can also fall into depression or become scattered/absent-minded when there is a deficiency of the water element in the body. This mudra balances that element.
